Ghost
farewell, nate. today i finally sold my less-than-a-year-old nokia n8. here is a photo when it was born, the very first day i had it. being a tekki junkie, i consider all my gadgets as real human babies. this phone was so special because it took me almost 5 months just to finally have it, in the specific color that i had planned to own. best of all, it came free in my retention plan when my smart contract expired. for having the best and clearest 12mp camera among all my phones, for being with me in all my out of town and out of the country trips, for being a fabulous alternative for my digital cameras, for being my first orange phone, i thank you nate. we shared a lot of good memories, unfortunately i have no use for you anymore (fortunately for me though, i change phones a lot). you will surely be missed. may your new owner take care of you the way i have flawlessly done so the whole time you were in my possession. =)

thank you @SmartCares, thank you @Talk2Globe, for my new toys. though unfortunately these days i’m reminded again why i stopped using the iPhone as my main phone for almost 2 years… the battery life still sucks! :(

i love anything that has to do with water, and i love biking for it’s a huge part of my childhood. this would be such an awesome toy to have!

blackberry playbook vs. apple ipad 2: ding ding ding!

if only owning both could be as convenient as carrying an onyx + an iphone. #undecided

late last year i decided to sell this due to lack of use. time passed and i forgot to follow it up until i came across this again so reposted my sale announcements.
at present time it’s still for sale though i will be meeting prospect buyers next weekend. as you can clearly see, it’s still very smooth as it has been used only for a couple of times. i have to admit, this was an impulse buy only because it’s the first touchscreen camera of sony that came out in hot pink. {no judgments.}
i hope this gets sold soon, need the funds for new babies!

the aftermath ☛ accomplished to do the impossible & cleaned my trashroom. i’d have to give credit to my lovable father who would always scream at me whenever he visits the house and enters my room saying ‘this isn’t a girl’s room!’ (you have to imagine this in the scariest tone though) so finally i decided to be a taong grasa for a day & began oplan de-clutter.started at 5am and ended almost dinner time. no, my room is not huge at all, but that’s how much work i had to put into it considering i don’t even remember the last time i’ve done a general cleaning. after embracing the maximum dust i can possess, i finally reached my goal of having a dust free & more spacious shelter! (good luck naman kung hanggang kelan aabutin ng ganito.)

define siksikan. this area of my room was originally meant for picture frames. sadly, my babies’ houses are more important since i always keep them for future needs (i sell my gadgets from time to time). my friends and siblings always joke around that entering my room is like visiting a gadget ukay, they just don’t understand the pogi points behind every box that comes with whatever i’m selling.

another day for a painful good bye. yep, i get too attached to my things. all the more when there are ‘special memories’ behind them. it’s a coincidence that two of my mobile phones got sold in two consecutive days. as much as i want to keep them all with me, i have too much already in my hands. this blackberry bold is very special as it was my first ever blackberry, and i got it from my first ever real job way back in december 2008. i remember consulting a lot of reviews online as well as other tekki friends on whether to get this or its then competitor, the nokia e71. i ended up buying this on the very first day of release in infomaxx and i didn’t regret it at all. as much as i want to keep you, your memories are too much to bare. time to really let you go, bb! enjoy your new home with your new british parents. (soshal, diba!)

farewell, nokia n95 8gb. this is by far the longest mobile phone that ever stayed with me. when i say longest we’re talking about 4 years. in my tekki world, that’s considered really long. seems like yesterday when i saw a glimpse of this online, it’s as if i got possessed as i had no goal for several months but to save up for its arrival. i was still in college then, i purchased this through card installment on the first day it was launched & it really didn’t come as a surprise that i was the first buyer in nokia care tomas morato. there’s a sole purpose why i never sold it and it’s none other than the 5mp camera. even the phones that were built years after cannot compete with the quality of this powerful baby. it was the one & only reason that kept our relationship strong… till i found the perfect unit that could & would beat the quality of this phone. been selling this since late last year and it was finally purchased today. i hafta admit, it’s full of sentimental values as it seemed like parting with something that’s been a huge part of you for the last four years. looking at the photos taken by this phone brought back hundreds of different memories but i’m glad that i was able to find my baby a new home rather than rot with me. adios n95, momma will never forget you.
