the beached is back.

in one of my trips last year i got to snorkel for 4 hours straight and as soon as i finished i only had one thing in mind —- damn, i’ve missed diving. it’s because of that said trip that i promised myself to go back and do it again but never had time for it since it was nearing the holidays already.

for the year 2011, my goal was to go back to doing the things that i love most. i quit scuba diving last 2004 (for private & stupid reasons) but this year, it was definitely on top of my ‘2011 YES list’. i was able to do it a couple of times but it was in this specific dive that i wanted to cry out of pure happiness. february really turned out to be a fEbulous month for me and this is one of the major major reasons why.

for march, my goal was to seriously learn how to windsurf. two of my siblings are pros when it comes to this sport and they compete regularly but i never really took it upon myself to learn. i would just do it for fun but the fact that i always fall off the board didn’t really inspire me to pour my heart into it.

just recently i finally gave it a shot and learned the sport together with a very sfeyshal kid companion. it felt like winning in the olympics (at talagang alam ko ang feeling) as i was able to sail back to the shore all on my own. the feeling was unexplainable. i know i still have a lo0o0ong way to go but the fact that i’ll be able to cross out ‘windsurf’ in my 2011 list is enough to make me rejoice for a long time.

wait for me my dear ocean, i will be back very soon. :)

let's run away and don't ever look back, don't ever look back! =j
